Community Guidelines
Steelman is a game about arguing both sides of contested ideas. That only works if people can disagree sharply without turning the product into harassment, spam, or abuse.
These guidelines are incorporated into our Terms. We may remove content, limit visibility, restrict accounts, or revoke beta access when activity hurts the product or community.
Play the Game Honestly
- Write the strongest sincere arguments you can for both sides.
- Do not reveal your true belief before other users guess.
- Do not coordinate guesses, manipulate rankings, or use multiple accounts to inflate scores.
- Do not mass-paste low-quality, automated, or spam content.
Respect People
- No targeted harassment, threats, intimidation, doxxing, or unwanted sexual content.
- No hateful conduct or dehumanizing attacks against protected classes.
- No impersonation, deceptive identity claims, or misleading affiliation claims.
- No content that encourages self-harm, violence, exploitation, or illegal activity.
Keep Content Safe to Host
- Do not upload or submit content you do not have the right to use.
- Do not submit private, confidential, medical, financial, or identifying information about others without permission.
- Do not try to bypass moderation, rate limits, storage rules, or app security.
- Do not use Steelman to distribute malware, scams, phishing, or manipulated links.
Moderation
We use automated checks, manual review, user reports, and provider safety tools. We may make mistakes, especially during beta. If you think enforcement was wrong, contact support@steelman.co.
