Media Policy
This policy covers profile images, gloat videos, AI-generated audio, avatar portraits, share images, and other media used in Steelman.
Rights and Consent
- Only upload media you own, created, licensed, or have permission to use.
- Do not upload private recordings, images, voices, or likenesses of other people without consent.
- Do not use media to impersonate someone or mislead users about who is speaking.
- Do not upload copyrighted, trademarked, confidential, or restricted material unless you have the right to use it.
AI Audio and Avatars
Steelman may use AI voice and media providers to generate audio from written arguments. Generated media may sound natural, but it is still generated or processed output. Voices and avatars are product characters, not endorsements by real people.
We may regenerate, replace, delay, block, or remove generated media for quality, safety, cost, legal, operational, or product reasons.
Gloat Videos
- Gloats should be playful, not abusive.
- No threats, hate, sexual content, harassment, personal attacks, or private information.
- No dangerous stunts, illegal activity, self-harm content, or instructions for harm.
- We may hold gloat videos for review or prevent them from appearing after a guess.
Storage and Access
Media may be stored with cloud infrastructure providers. Some media may be served through signed, time-limited URLs after authorization. Signed links reduce casual sharing but do not guarantee secrecy. Users may still copy, record, screenshot, or otherwise capture visible content.
Reporting
Report unsafe or infringing media through the app when available or by emailing support@steelman.co.
