Child Safety Standards
Steelman has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards apply to every Steelman user, response, comment, message, image, video, profile, and link.
Prohibited Conduct
Steelman prohibits content or activity that depicts, promotes, solicits, normalizes, facilitates, or links to child sexual abuse or exploitation, including:
- Child sexual abuse material, including real, altered, computer-generated, or AI-generated depictions.
- Sexualization of minors, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, enticement, or requests for sexual content involving a minor.
- Instructions, links, coded language, or communities intended to obtain or distribute abusive material.
- Threats to share intimate material involving a minor or attempts to move exploitative activity to another service.
How to Report a Concern
Use the Report option available on Steelman comments and direct messages. You may also email support@steelman.co with the subject “Child safety report.” Include the relevant username, content link or identifier, and a short description. Do not attach or forward suspected child sexual abuse material.
If a child may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate law-enforcement authority in your region.
Our Response
We review child-safety reports promptly. When we identify prohibited content or activity, we may remove or disable access to it, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records where appropriate, and take other protective action. We report apparent child sexual abuse material and related conduct to the appropriate regional or national authorities when required by applicable law.
Prevention and Enforcement
Steelman uses account controls, reporting and blocking tools, moderation workflows, access controls, and human review to reduce abuse. We may update these safeguards as the product, risks, and legal requirements change. Attempts to evade safety controls or retaliate against a reporter are prohibited.
