Delete your Steelman account
You can request deletion of your Steelman account and the personal data associated with it at any time.
- Email us from the address connected to your Steelman account.
- Use the subject line Delete my Steelman account.
- Include your Steelman username so we can identify the correct account.
What we delete
After verifying the request, we delete or de-identify the active account and associated profile information, authentication identifiers, responses, guesses, comments, direct messages, uploaded profile images, gloat videos, notification records, and other account-linked product data.
Timing and limited retention
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days while those backups rotate. We may retain limited security, fraud-prevention, moderation, transaction, or legal records for longer when reasonably necessary or required by law. Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer identify you may also be retained.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
You may use the same email address to request deletion of specific content or other account-linked data. Tell us what you would like removed and include your Steelman username.

Contact privacy@steelman.co. We may ask for reasonable verification before deleting account data so another person cannot delete your account without permission.
